I don’t really need to tell you this, but we are now approaching Christmas Eve. Perhaps you have family on their way over for a good ol’ get together, and more than likely your kid’s demeanor are starting to change as they sense Santa Claus is getting near. No matter where you are this Christmas holiday, or what you are doing, I can just about say for certain that on you, or somewhere close by, there is an iPhone or an iPad. And what would Christmas be without some apps that are designed specifically for your Christmas holiday.
Below are 3 apps (and 1 bonus) that I want to share with you that are perfect for the Christmas holiday season. So get out your iPhone or iPad, and get ready to install these great Christmas apps (and yes, they are all 100% free):
Cards (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad) It’s Free
If you are looking for a fast, easy, and inexpensive way to send out some holiday and Christmas cards, then look no further than this app developed by Apple. Christmas cards come in a wide assortment of themes and templates all designed for your holiday spirit. You’ll be able to customize your cards, personalize them for family and friends, and then send them out to the recipients. All of the Christmas cards are 100% free to download and there is a $2.99 charge for sending to U.S. locations, $4.99 for international shipments, and all of the above includes postage.
Cut the Rope: Holiday Gift (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad) Free
You are probably familiar with “Cut the Rope”, one of the most popular apps in the app store. But you might not be familiar with “Cut the Rope: Holiday Gift”. Basically, it’s Cut the Rope but with a holiday theme to it. Check it out, and let us know what you think.
The holiday seasons can be one of the most difficult times to maintain (or even lose) weight. So instead of trying to do your best at guessing what foods to eat, or not to eat, counting calories, and figuring out ingredients, why not let an app help you figure out all of your holiday nutritional needs? This app will help you make the best choices in cooking your holiday meals this year.
*** BONUS APP:
The bonus app is actually only available in the Android market, but it’s also available as a Chrome extension or just a simple web browser interface, but it’s the Google Santa Tracker. The Santa Tracker by Google is, without a doubt, the most amazing tracker I’ve seen to date and it’s chalk full of features, games, real time tracking of Santa, and more.
There are just a few of the free apps I found for your holiday season. What are some other apps that you’d recommend for this Christmas?
