Google continues to capitalize on Apple’s iOS 6 debacle with more good news for the search giant. Eric Schmidt announced that Google’s home bread Android tablet, the Nexus 7, will be released in Japan today. Japan represents the third largest market in app installs from Google Play which means the Nexus 7, arguable the best Android tablet on the market, should do quite well.
The Nexus 7 Android tablet is Google’s very own tablet product. Powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and a Tegra 4 quad core processor, the Nexus 7 is an impressive tablet. Coupled with the fact that Google Play now boasts an 675,000 apps, you’ll now have plenty of apps and media to experience on the Nexus 7.
Just yesterday, Google announced they’ve reached a new height with Android with 25 billion app downloads in Google Play.
