Wow… have you seen the discrepancy between the Bad Piggies’ reviews on Google Play vs. Apple’s App Store?  It’s stunning, to say the least.  The last time I checked (literally 2 seconds ago), Google Play’s Bad Piggies page has 1,608 reviews and Apple’s App Store only has 72 reviews.

Now granted, I’m not sure if Apple’s app store updates on a continuous basis, but it’s clear that Google Play does because their number increases pretty much every time I hit refresh.

Bad Piggies is getting great reviews on both places.  In the app store, the 72 reviews you do see are all 5 stars.  And in Google Play, out of 1,608 reviews there are 1,399 that are 5 stars.

As it looks right now, people are loving Bad Piggies, the new game from Rovio who is the maker of Angry Birds.

I was just shocked to see the difference between the review counts.

I’m guess that Apple doesn’t update their reviews in real time…???

And if they don’t, perhaps they should.  Especially when you have a huge game like this coming out, people might appreciate seeing reviews in real time.
