And for one of the first times I can remember, I actually had a number 1 circle showing up on my settings app on my iPhone’s home screen.
So iOS 6 is here an in full effect. And below are the 5 features I think you really, more than likely, are going to care about above all the others.
Here are the only iOS 6 features you’ll really care about
#1: Facebook iOS Integration
Facebook is probably one of the biggest, if not the biggest, upgrade that people are going to care about with iOS 6. The direct integration of Facebook with iOS 6 will allow Facebook to now integrate with various iPhone apps such as Photos and Safari, and you’ll also be collaborating with the Notification Center with your Facebook account.
This is a huge traffic booster for Facebook as they are trying to figure out ways to boost mobile, and more specifically find ways to actually monetize mobile.
Siri is working her way into more of the main stream with Apple devices. The third generation iPad and also the fifth generation iPod Touch (coming next month) will both have Siri as a standard app.
Another cool upgrade you’ll notice with Siri is turn by turn navigation along with opening apps on your iPhone with Siri.
Here’s something that Google with it’s new focus on the iPhone Chrome app is going to have to worry about. Apple is bringing a newly updated Safari browser to the iPhone with iOS 6. Users will be able to open tabs from and sync with other Apple devices through what’s called iCloud tabs. You’ll also be able to save articles for later with what’s called Offline Reading List.
#4: FaceTime on cell networks
Before now, you were only able to use FaceTime over 3G and WiFi data networks. Now you’ll be able to use FaceTime over cellular networks.
These are just four of the features that you’ll find on the new iOS 6 update.
What are some of your favorite features that you are finding with iOS 6?
