Shoppers in the State of California are next in line to fall victim to Amazon sales tax which will start at mid-night tonight.
The free ride is coming to end with the Amazon sales tax getting ready to unleash itself in the state of California. And with California’s mis-management of state funds, this is just perfect – more money to misappropriate, mishandle, and in essence flush down the toilet.
Californians have until mid-night tonight to click away and purchase as much as you can from Amazon without paying taxes.
Once mid night strikes, the party is over and tax revenue will start flowing into the coffers of the ill-equipped California state government.

Some Congresswoman named Jackie Speier (D) went ahead and embarrassed the State of California with a statement that made the Golden State sound like it was a fiscally responsible state when she said this,
“When you’re losing that sales tax revenue, that means it’s affecting your roads, it’s affecting the resources for local government, it’s affecting the resources for education.”
The problem with the Amazon sales tax is that it spells the end of the tax free environment for e-commerce. If Amazon, and other major e-commerce websites, are having to cough up tax dollars, then every other e-commerce site is going to have to fork up the tax revenue as well.
I suppose with billions of dollars of revenue flowing through the internet, it was really just a matter of time before the states figured out a way to get their hands on the cash. And what better way than hitting up Amazon who ships content to residence within the state.
