For only $2000 dollars, and an iPad, you can guarantee that you are always available in the office to check up on people, no matter where you are in the world.  The folks at Double Robotics have developed an iPad robot – simply called Double – that leverages the iPad Facetime feature.  The iPad sits nicely right at the top of a rolling iPad stand, and is shaped as such so as to “sort of” represent yourself in a quasi-virtual world.  Don’t think this is a good idea?  Well too bad… Double Robotics has already sold out of the version in the video below and production is being ramped up to keep up with demand.  So what are some of the ways you would use this iPad robotic version of yourself?
