Google Now Coming to iPad & iPhone

Siri is pretty cool, I know.  But as you probably know, there is a vast chasm of infinite space between what’s cool and what’s actually used on the iPad and iPhone.  And the Siri app, as cool as it is, isn’t the first app I see iPad users busting out.  Google just announced yesterday in a blog post that Google enhanced search for voice is being revamped and should be available in the app store soon (check out a couple videos below).  Google enhanced search looks… well… amazing if you ask me.  According to the blog post, the new enhanced voice search app will tap into the vast database of Google’s knowledge graph, advanced speech recognition tools, and Google’s current voice search technology to bring you a search experience on the iPad that will simply blow Siri out of the water (also on the iPhone).  Check out these videos that should give you a pretty good sense of what Google’s enhanced voice search will be like.  And then imagine it on the iPad where you already get websites loading on the site of the search results!  Here’s the vids:

And now a comparison of Siri vs. Google’s new voice search app on Galaxy Nexus using Jelly Bean version of the Android OS:
