BRG is reporting via All Things D that Apple’s annual iPad press conference is going down during the first week in March where the Cupertino company will be announcing the much anticipated iPad 3. Along with the breaking news on the iPad 3 press conference, they are reporting (or confirming) the rumors on the iPad 3 specs: longer battery life, faster processing, Retina Display, with the same shape and size as the iPad 2 (which is also where rumors on the name iPad 2S come from). One thing not confirmed, but widely expected on the iPad 3, is an A6 quad core processor. With the iPad 3 press conference happening during the first week in March, the tablet will be on the shelves by the second or third week in March.
