Now that the iPhone 5 release date frenzy is behind and everyone is over the huge disappointment that it was only an iPhone 4s, we can now move our appetites on to something a bit more tantalizing – like the iPad 3 release date rumors.
However, the way I read it is we’ll actually see an upgraded iPad 2 (i.e. an iPad 2s) prior to us seeing an iPad 3 hit the market.
Most people who are wrapped up in the buzz generation machine are expecting we’ll see an iPad 2s prior to March of 2012.
Then, sometime in Q3 of 2012, we’ll actually see an iPad 3 hit the streets. The only problem I see though with both an iPad 2s and an iPad 3 coming out in the same year is inventory.
Maybe with Tim Cook at the helm we can expect to see a heftier supply line of iPads.
But if it’s anything like the iPad 2 debacle, how in the world is Apple expected to supply the overwhelming demand that would generated with two versions an iPad released in the same year?
It’ll be one for the record books for sure, if that’s in fact what happens.
