One Man with a voice rages against the Apple Tide

A writer for the The Brunei Times/Asia News Network apparently recently bought a tablet computer that is not an iPad 2.  All of the people he is running into are asking him about his iPad and so he has used his platform to rage against the machine that is Apple.  What has happened is that the iPad is to tablets what Kleenex is to tissue.  While over the last year some other tablets have gained some of the market share it is a fact that Apple owns nearly 75% of the tablet market.  Yet none of the competing tablets have more that 8% of the remaining market.  He complains that the iPad 2 is too expensive and that even after purchase you have to pay for apps.  While, with the Android tablets you will spend less and most of the apps are free.  However, at the end of his raving one will not be swayed by the fact that Apple is light years ahead of its competition and has clearly prepared for success at least until it comes to meeting demand.
